The upcoming weeks will see the delivery of millions of Americans with DIRECT payments, each valued up to $500.
A number of state governments are attempting to provide some assistance to citizens as they fight inflation.
Tax refunds of up to $500 are scheduled to be given to hundreds of thousands of New Mexicans.
The state offers two statewide refund programs this year.
The first of them, with a maximum value of $1,000, began to be distributed to taxpayers in June.
But in that round, there were no limitations.

The income cutoff for the following round of refunds is determined by whether joint or single tax filing is chosen.

The first payments may be handled on July 5 since Monday, July 4, is a federal holiday, a representative for the New Mexico Tax and Revenue Department told local news source KRQE. Payments will begin to be sent out the week of July 3.
There is no need to submit an application because rebates will be issued automatically to taxpayers who filed in 2021.
The rebates may be used to the state tax obligations for individuals who owe them.
Up to 210,000 paper checks may be processed, according to the state.
Other states’ rebates
Refunds and rebates have been given to taxpayers in a number of other states.
In a few weeks, thousands of Hawaii residents should get a one-time tax refund worth $1,200.
Couples with incomes under $200,000 and single taxpayers with incomes under $100,000 will each receive a $300 tax credit.
