The three-bedroom home could be yours for just £250,000 – but wait until you take a look inside.

The east London home appears to be the perfect family home from the outside, with beautiful large windows and in a prime location.

But once you step inside, it’s a different story.

The house needs a lot of work after a property fire – many rooms are gutted and covered with black soot.

The fire is believed to have started after the e-bike’s lithium-ion battery burned down.

Half of the ground floor and the first floor of the two-storey house were damaged in a fire earlier this year, resulting in one person being hospitalised.

It took 40 firefighters 90 minutes to douse the fire that started at 3 pm on March 16.

Unfortunately, the tragic incident left the property in dire condition.

However, despite the extensive work required on this, the house sold for £404,000 at auction, indicating a high demand for properties in the capital.

The new homeowner, who hasn’t been named, will have a DIY job or two in hand with making the space livable once again.

It’s hard to imagine that the living room was once a place of bliss, as it now looks like an abandoned building with walls and furniture covered in soot.

The entire bathroom is also accidentally covered with gray smoke, which has stuck firmly to the tiles, toilet and shower.

One bedroom is completely destroyed, with only a bunk bed frame and a few cabinets remaining inside, more like a prison than a kid’s room.

The second bedroom looks a bit more livable but with the rubble and vintage furnishings spread across the bed, will need some TLC.

Stacks of plastic bags coat the kitchen floor, adding to the list of things to do while giving that space a well-needed spring clean.

Walking outside, you’re treated to another eye-ache in the garden with mountains of garbage, old bedding and unwanted stuff on the way.

But once up and running, new homeowners can treat themselves to a night in the capital, with the Barking Underground station just around the corner.

While this London home has now sold, the auction house has plenty to bargain for, such as a three-bedroom home in London for just £275,000.

But be careful – it’s tough competition in the capital, as the fire-damaged house has shown.
